By using Qibla Finder you accept these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site. The Qibla Finder team may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page is the one that applies.
2. What the service is
Qibla Finder is a free browser-based tool that calculates the great-circle bearing and distance from a location to the Kaaba in Makkah, offers a live compass view on supported devices, and publishes city bearings and practical guides. No account, installation or payment is required.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the tool for personal, non-deceptive purposes.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the site, overload its hosting, or misrepresent its results as survey-grade or officially certified measurements.
- Do not present the site’s guidance as a religious ruling issued by this site; it is not one.
4. Accuracy and availability
Bearings are computed with the standard great-circle method from the coordinates supplied or detected. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”: sensor behaviour, location accuracy, map availability and third-party services are outside the Qibla Finder team’s control, and no guarantee is made that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change or be withdrawn without notice.
5. Intellectual property
The text, design and code published on this site belong to the Qibla Finder team or its licensors. The bearing and distance figures themselves are facts and may be quoted freely with a link back to the relevant page. You may not republish substantial parts of the guides or city pages as your own work.
6. Third-party services
The site may request fonts and map tiles from third-party providers and may display advertising. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which the Qibla Finder team does not control.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Qibla Finder team is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site or a result it displays. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the site operator’s place of establishment, and any dispute will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
