A useful report includes the page, city or coordinates involved, the degree shown, your device and what you used as a second reference.

What to include in a report

State the city page or exact location, copy the bearing you saw, and say whether the issue concerned the mathematical degree, the moving phone arrow or the map. If a mosque line or surveyed local reference differs, name the source without sharing private location details.

Data correction

Include the city, published bearing, distance and the reliable source you believe should replace it.

Compass problem

Include the browser, phone model, permission status and whether the numeric bearing stayed stable.

Accessibility

Describe the control, text or interaction that blocked you and the assistive technology used.
